Hiker's Hut
Who can use the Hut:
The Hut is open to the public and can hold up to 14 people.
Youth and family groups are especially welcome.
What it costs:
Sierra Club Members: $12.00 per person per night; $20 weekends and holidays
Non-members: $18.00 per person per night; $25 weekends and holidays
Children under 10 are $6.00 per night; Children under 2 are free.
Sierra Club Groups - $60.00 per night.
Youth based non-profit groups - $10.00 per person per night
Non-Youth based non-profit groups - regular nightly rates.
THERE IS A $5.00 PER VEHICLE PARKING FEE for each car AT THE PARKING LOT
Rangers will give tickets for non-payment
- Reservations will be considered up to four months in advance (example: January 1 we start booking for the whole month of April.)
- Reservations are made by phone at (650) 390-8411 x393. Please leave your name, home and work phone numbers, number of people in your party, and the nights you would like to reserve the Hut. Calls are returned on Monday and Thursday afternoons.
- In order to secure your reservation, you need to send your total fee within 10 days of having your reservation date confirmed. Please make checks payable to: Coast Range Hike & Hut. Mail to Sierra Club, 3921 E. Bayshore Rd., Palo Alto, CA 94303, Attention: Hikers' Hut.
- To cancel your reservation call (650) 390-8411 x393. Your remittance will be refunded if others from the waiting list fill your reservation. If no one stays on days reserved, the fee will be forfeited. There will be no refunds for cancellations within one week of a planned stay. Partial refunds will not be processed.
