#1 Stanford Shopping Center

Corner of El Camino and Sand Hill Road, across from Macy’s Men Store. From 280 Exit Sand Hill Road East in Menlo Park. Go about 2 miles on Sand Hill and turn right in to the parking lot just before El Camino. Park in the spaces closest to the corner of El Camino and Sand Hill From 101, exit University Ave. West in Palo Alto. Straight on University (through downtown) to El Camino and turn right. Then left on Sand Hill Road and left in to the parking lot. Map it

#2 Los Gatos Free Unlimited Parking Lot

From Highway 17 Exit onto Saratoga Ave./Hwy. 9 west in Los Gatos. Go past first light (University), then take first driveway into parking lot. There will be a red sign at entrance that says :"Free Unlimited Parking" Meet near Saratoga Av. end of lot. (Santa Clara buses 27, 60, 76) Map It

#3 Santa Clara County Parking Lot

Corner of 1st and Hedding in San Jose. From 880 exit onto 1st Street south in San Jose. Turn right at Hedding and right again into the parking lot. Weekends only. Map It

#4 There is no carpool point #4 or #5. Use #8 instead.

#6 Page Mill Park 'N Ride Lot

Intersection of Page Mill and Arastradero in Palo Alto. From 280 travelling North exit onto Page Mill Road west (Los Altos Hills) in Palo Alto.get in left lane of exit ramp, make a left on Page Mill, go under Freeway and turn left at stop sign (Arastradero). From 280 travelling South, go straight at stop sign at the end of the exit ramp. The lot is next to the freeway at corner of Page Mill and Arastradero Note: no parking is allowed anywhere on Arastradero Rd Map It

#7 Edgewood Park 'N Ride Lot.

Northeast corner of Edgewood and 280. Coming South on 280 exit Edgewood Road. Stay in left lane of offramp. Turn left at Edgewood. Go under freeway and turn left into Parking Lot. Coming North on 280 Exit Edgewood Road. Stay in right lane when exiting. Turn right onto Edgewood and be prepared to make an immediate (one care lenghth) left into Parking Lot. Map It

#8 Cupertino

Homestead Square parking lot. From 280 exit Saratoga/Sunnyvale Rd (De Anza Blvd.) towards Sunnyvale (north).Turn left on Homestead (first traffic light), then left into the shopping center. Park & meet near Carl's Jr. Map It

Carpool-means a leader will be at the carpool point.

Self Carpool-means the leader will not be at the site and participants must arrange carpools among themselves. We encourage carpools as a sensible convenience to drivers & riders, but the section & leaders take no responsibility for arranging carpools or the safe conduct of riders. However, leaders may refuse a driver known to drive unsafely. Please speak up if your driver is driving unsafely.

The following mileage rates are suggested, but riders and drivers should agree on a rate before leaving. Drivers may not profit from driving. The rates assume $0.26 mile for fuel, maintenance, wear & lost value for added miles, but not fixed costs such as insurance, license & luxury value. The number of cars should be safely minimized. Riders should fairly allocate themselves to drivers who may have fewer riders. Please don't make your driver ask for money. Ask the driver for the amount and volunteer your share. Don't switch cars without telling your driver and paying the agreed amount. Thanks!
